Knowledge of God and keeping a relationship with God is important for our children. We want them to know God and believe in Him until the end of their days.
In the evenings, before bedtime, campers participate in contemplation with the camp clergy.
Young campers are read bible stories before bedtime where they learn about God’s presence in their lives and about our Orthodox faith.
Older campers have the opportunity to participate in question and answer sessions that help them dig deeper into their beliefs and their Orthodox religion.
Through these evening contemplation sessions, we pray that our campers become more aware and conscious of God, more responsive to His spirit, and more open to his presence in their lives.
